"Socorro! Es o chefão!" (Somebody help! It's the boss!) -- Cebolinha panics when the Conejator rises.
The Conejator is a minor villainous character in the Turma De Mônica TV franchise. He made his debut in Each One in Your Story. His English name was given to him from the Spanish Conejo (due to his resemblance to a rabbit) and the suffix -ator. In Portuguese, he is called the "Coelhator". (From Portuguese "Coelho" (rabbit/bunny))
The Conejator is Lawful Evil.
Role[]
The Conejator pops from a building after he is roused from his sleep. Mônica and Cebolinha run, but Marina pops in at the right time. The artist brandishes her pencil and blocks the Conejator's lasers, before she finally erases his body from existence, killing him and scoring 5000 points for his death.
Name Origin[]
The Conejator eanred both his names from terms for rabbit, the English and Spanish names from the Spanish Conejo (rabbit). His Portuguese name comes from the Portuguese Coelho (which also means "rabbit"). His name is third declension (Gen. Coelhatoros, Dat. Coelhatori, Acc. Coelhatorem, ABl. Coelhatorde).
Trivia[]
- The Conejator is one of the few Turma De Mônica characters to actually die on screen. He dies when Marina erases his body from existence with her pencil.
- His story was originally filled by Super Mario's King Bowser Koopa. It is possible that Brazil added him in to fill the Koopa King's role as Bowser traces his roots to Nintendo.
