Ditto (Portuguese: Monicão) is a recurring character in Monica's Gang.
Personality[]
Ditto is Monica's pet dog. He seems to like biting flying things which she finds disturbing (as she got mad at his actions in Don't Bite Everything That Flies). Jimmy Five and Smudge gave Ditto to her as a way to mock her. But she soon befriended him, and Ditto became her best friend and spent his life in a dog house near her house.
Appearance[]
Ditto is a brown dog with buck teeth and "banana hair", just like Monica herself has. He is about a quarter his size, and his ears appear twice as big as his feet are.
Etymology[]
The name Monicão comes from the name Mônica and Cão (dog in Portuguese).
