Manezinho

Manezinho is another of Franklin and Bucky's best friends. He is an immigrant from Portugal who now lives in Brazil. Has a young brother called António Alfacinha. He has eight strands hair, white shirt, light red suspenders or shorts, and brown shoes.

He, in the beginning, made fun of Monica. Obligatory presence at the first years of the magazine, was part of the Franklin's gang. He is the son of a Portuguese couple, but he never had a very striking feature, so he was taking fewer and fewer appearances until he disappeared in the 80's. But he has resurfaced in recent years, but still with minor appearances. His full name is Manoel Alcunha Miranda Filho.

• He has a brother called António Alfacinha.
• Franklin, Bucky and Jeremiah actually only appear wearing shorts in stories in which they are with the gang, as in independent stories they appear wearing shorts. Manezinho is the only one who always wears shorts, but even so he rarely appears in independent stories.
