McFox is a brown fox with yellow bow tie, red and white checkered jacket. He is sarcastic, sagacious, smart, flirtatious, cunning, charitable, funny and friendly. McFox, naturally, is flirtatious, a bit sarcastic, with a lot of talk and a sense of cleverness, he is the best friend of hair One-eye, his compadre, and Thunder and Turtle, his prose companions. He is a fox, although he is sometimes mistaken for a wolf. Raposão was the second Mata character created by Mauricio de Sousa Produções - after Thunder -, already wearing the checkered suit and bow tie, for which he became famous. At first, all the stories were credited with his name - and at the time he was still a bit grumpy - but he became charming and chatty, obtaining several girlfriends over the last few decades. He is seen from time to time in some editions, occasionally stars in trickery stories and, sometimes, appears as another secondary character in Mata's stories alongside other subjects of the Leonine King.
