Coelho Caolho na Turma da Mata

He is a great friend of Raposão, Jotalhão and Tarugo, and husband of Dona Coelha. He lives in a burrow underground with his wife and their hundreds of puppies, who don't take a break. He is called Compadre Coelho by his friends. Mauricio de Sousa created the members of Turma da Mata in newspaper strips. A curious aspect is that the stories, which initially took place in the "Matas do Chapadão", often had a political content amidst the childish humor. The first character to appear, in 1964, in Folha de S. Paulo, was Raposão. Already wearing a checkered jacket and bow tie, he was always very smart and flirtatious. And the strip carried his name until July 1975, when it changed to Jotalhão. In the same year, Coelho Caolho and the intellectual shit Tarugo debuted. The three discussed that forest animals should live in other types of housing, and not in dens. One-Eye soon appeared with his wife and puppies (it was only much later, in the comics, that the number of 118 puppies was established). He is a rabbit wears blue glasses and yellow shirt.
