Samson (Sansão in the original) is Monica's blue plush bunny, given as a gift when she was still a baby, by her father, Seu Sousa, bought by Dona Luisa in a children's store. From then until now, this little bunny serves as a companion in the various adventures of his owner and, in addition to having great emotional meaning for Monica, he is still a weapon from the perspective of the mischievous children in Lemon Tree Street. Jimmy Five always tries to take Samson from Monica. She mostly hits Jimmy Five and Smudge (sometimes Sunny, Bucky, Franklin, etc.), all of which are attacked by the stuffed rabbit given to Monica.
Samson was Monica's first gift! We learned in one comic story that Monica was given Samson by her father, Seu Sousa, on the day of her birth while still in the nursery, which was on March 21 (probably in 2006).
Personality
He is almost rarely shown in his living form, and serves as a sort of parallel to Hobbes from Calvin and Hobbes. Even though he is usually inanimate, Samson can still be considered one of the most important characters, since in general, Monica and Jimmy Five's fights revolve around him. Jimmy Five loves to tie his ears in knots, while Monica prefers to use him as a weapon to punish those who tie him in knots.
While he is incapable of talking or moving for the most part, Samson gives discreet "winks" and other references that he does have personality in certain special stories. For example, in one story, he is struck by lightning and takes on a life of his own, but in this story he also reveals he doesn't like it when Monica uses him to hit boys. Samson has a crush on Delilah, his female pink counterpart, as they sometimes hang out together.
Appearance
His animated form gives him black beady eyes, while his cartoon strips form has human-like eyes. He also has a blue fluffy tail.
In Monica Toy, the character can move, and is shown not to be lonely, as he has several more of his kind. Examples of this phenomenon include "The Bunny Whisperer", when he and his friends/pals are dancing to Jimmy Five's flute. When moving, he tends to jump.
